It all started with the 5800 x3D processor launched in 2022 at the price point of $449 focusing only on gaming, but obviously it does give you a better experience in productivity also. Since then, X3D processor has been the flagship lineup of AMD processors and roaring like a beast in the processor market. There’s been a x3d version of the lineup In every generation of AMD processors; enthusiast and gamer eagerly wait for the x3D processors — the computational ability is astounding for x3D processors sometimes during some benchmarking x3d processor have beaten many high priced processor of Intel’s say it gaming or productivity.
X3d processors have been giving very up-scaled performance due to it’s 3d v cache than it’s whole series lineup.
There’s a list of all x3d processor ( More yet to come in next years)

All these x3d processors are highly applauded in the industry by the users and enthusiasts, providing a higher price performance parity.
3D V-Cache:
3D virtual cache or 3D V-Cache technology is one of the core criteria what makes x3d processors better than any other processors in the market.
3D v cache — a technology to give better performance to the user without increasing the size of the CPU, instead stacking cache on top of the processors which introduces L3 cache on the CPU resulting in faster process and a better computability. L3 cache aka 3D V cache made these processors faster gaming processors in the market. As you can see from the table already, the larger the size of L3 cache gets, the faster the speed of the CPU becomes. 7950x3d processor with 6 cores has L3 cache of 128Mb provides higher boost clock than all other x3d processors. But the Most recently launched 9800x3d base clock is 4.7ghz with 8 cores and 16 thread which is way higher than any of its predecessor’s and within a day it became market out. Can you imagine, the processor is market out right after one hour of release? People are going crazy with this processor. So far we are hoping the best from AMD processors of x3d line up which are yet to launch in January and so on.
Ryzen 5800x3d processor—one of the first processor of the x3d lineup—is still thriving and getting placement on the benchmark’s leaderboard due to its high performance per value. As of now, the product is already market out and AMD is discontinuing this product as new x3d processors of 9000 series are launched recently.
